We are opening our first bespoke activity day centre in Jan 2025 for children and young people with additional needs where we will deliver educational /social activity to support their independent and development.
The role would suit individuals with a passion for helping children and an interest in mental health. They will need to keep up to date on current research and understand the needs of each patient they see. Using knowledge learnt and seeing children progress and lead happier lives can be fulfilling.
Wages: £18.00-£20.00/hr depending on experience

ABA tutors to work with children and young adults who have developmental disabilities and special education needs, including autism, dyslexia, language impairment and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
This tutors would also assist parents and educators in learning how to reinforce positive behaviours and decrease negative ones in Jay childcare children
WAGES:
£15.88-18.90 depending on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:
To work as JCM private ABA tutor with our clients and SEN children with Austin and behavioural issues .
You will be expected to provide private tutoring work with SEN children with ages 6-12 years in our activity centre using the Applied Behaviour Analysis ( ABA ) technique and within the community whom has special educational needs.
You will be working as Behaviour Support Tutor, where you work one-on-one with children and young people to deliver personalized ABA or PBS programs .
You will required when necessary to work under the supervision of a our freelance /self-employed BCBA-certified or UK-BA Cert behavior specialist.
You will be using ABA behavioural techniques which a full training we be given to you.
To contribute to the childcare planning of sessions and activities.
Responsible in Delivering and recording group sessions with families and children face to face or zoom meetings .
You provide care for children with special learning needs, including helping with feeding, dressing, toileting, and nappy changing.
You will monitor a child's progress and relate this back to show parents how their child is improving.
Facilitating activities and days out.
To ensure the sessions run smoothly and our safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
To provide a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all chiidren.

Evaluate the child/ren bebviour and assess how the child's learning can take place.
As children with special learning needs might require assistance to perform basic tasks, as JCM ABA tutors you will provide the necessary care, including nappy changing, feeding, toileting, dressing and medication.
Support and evaluate how parents and other JCM staff can help children perform these tasks, as this information can provide insight into the child's behaviour.
As an ABA tutors, you will monitor the effects of behaviour changes.
You will be expected to create tables and graphs based on the data you collect to show parents that their child is making progress.
Create , evaluated and design your own lessons to deliver to SEN children .
You will expected to carry out continuous assessment and set realistic targets for children .
PERSONAL SKILLS AND QUALIITIES
Qualifications and experience :
-Relevant degree in psychologist or relevant subject such as child development, Education psychology, Health and Social Care. Childcare or Counselling.-Essential
WORK EXPERINECE
Relevant work experience in child psychologist , teaching and working with children and adolescents with Special educational needs , either paid or voluntary essential
